Sehnaz has joined the AMS team as a Physiotherapist. Sehnaz graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Human Science (Human Movement) degree and went on to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney. Previous to her physiotherapy qualifications, she also had 8 years of experience in the aquatic industry as a swimming teacher, squad coach, and head lifeguard.
She has worked in various settings such as hospitals and private practices and has had experience with assessing and treating athletes from sports teams, including the Sydney Uni Rugby Team and Rowing Club.
Sehnaz grew up competing in swimming races and Martial Arts tournaments and found a passion for working with people and to rehabilitate their injuries and optimise their physical capabilities. She has also developed a passion to teach people about their body mechanics to assist with their recovery and reaching their goals.
She also practises breathwork, cold therapy and meditation as another way of improving her physical and mental state. She always seeks ways of physically challenging herself and believes you can do whatever you put your mind to! She incorporates this holistic approach while treating clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
