OUR ONLINE EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY PROGRAM FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T ATTEND THE STUDIO
WE IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM
Your first online Exercise Physiology consult will consist of a comprehensive assessment with one of our Exercise Physiologists. We will take a detailed history, as well as conduct a series of postural, functional and movement assessments. This will provide us with enough information to give you a diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis all from the safety of your own home (*Please note you will not need to complete this stage if you have already seen a Physiotherapist at our Parramatta studio.)
GET YOUR ‘PAIN FREE’ PROGRAM
Following your initial assessment, we will run you through a detailed mobility program to get you pain free and actively moving! This is where we will replace your usual hands on Physio treatments with self-release techniques, foam rolling, trigger point release and mobility drills. With the right guidance this can be just as effective as manual therapy – empowering you to take control of your pain. All exercises will be recorded in your own exercise app that will also be used to track your progress and symptoms.
Once you are moving pain-free through your movements, we can then progress you to a stability and strength program run by one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. The online strength program gives us the chance to personalise your home program, ensuring proper technique and most importantly preventing your injury or pain returning. The key to improving strength and stability is ensuring that you are given the correct exercises at the right time and progress at a safe rate.
