Exercise Program for Osteoporosis

Have you recently been diagnosed with Osteopenia, Osteoporosis or Osteoarthritis? Our Strong Bones Exercise Program for Osteoporosis has been specifically developed with a central focus on slowing the rate of bone loss and increasing bone density. Our Exercise Physiologists will also address any balance and posture deficits to help with falls prevention. Our clients receive individually tailored exercise programs that are targeted and goal focused.

Our Exercise Program for Osteoporosis is built around performing resistance exercise and impact training which are the two key factors required to promote bone remodeling and reversing bone loss. The bone remodeling process is most effective by progressively overloading your muscles as this places increased forces on your skeletal system. Of course, this needs to happen safely so commencing your exercise program at the correct intensity and in a supervised environment is recommended.
