PHILOSOPHY: “INTEGRATING MOVEMENT INTO REHABILITATION IS THE BEST WAY TO FAST TRACK YOUR RECOVERY.”

Natasha Louie

Physiotherapist

Natasha has joined the AMS team as a part time physiotherapist. Natasha was born and raised in the beautiful and rainy city Vancouver. However, no bad weather has stopped her enthusiasm to play a game of gridiron football or to drive up the mountains for a sunrise hike. Her curiosity for adventure mirrors her curiosity of the human body and its ability to be pushed, to heal, and to adapt.

In her undergrad Natasha had a passion for working with children on the autism spectrum. This ranged from providing instructions for weekly swimming classes, designing activities and exercises to foster general motor skills. She also has work experience in hospital outpatient rehabilitation, private practice and geriatrics.

Natasha graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Physiotherapy degree, following a degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. Natasha utilizes a wide variety of techniques and evidence based treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes. These include:

  • Patient education
  • Trigger point relief
  • Soft Tissue massage
  • Joint mobilizations
  • Joint manipulations
  • Exercise rehabilitation
