Shaf joins the AMS team as our leading Personal Trainer and Team Training Coach. Having a strong athletic background and keen interest in sports as young sportsman led him to follow his passion of exercise and training. This has guided him to following a career path in health and fitness. Shaf is currently completing his Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at The University of Sydney while working in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer.
After many years of team sports he found a true love for resistance training, expanding his knowledge and understanding, whilst seeking to learn all he could to optimise the principles of weight training and nutrition. He applies the same disciplines of training to his own life as he promotes and teaches to others. However, his passion for fitness runs deeper than just physical benefits but the benefits for positive mind state, self-growth and being healthy.
Shaf takes a holistic approach to exercise to ensure you are not only achieving your goals but enhancing your quality of life through improved functional capacity and postural correction. Life is a journey and our health greatly dictates how we encounter this experience. Fortunately, exercise is an avenue we can use to improve this.
Shaf looks to apply his knowledge and seeks to challenge himself with what he believes allows him to continue growing and refining his skills as a AMS Coach and future Exercise Physiologist. He seeks to share his passion, knowledge and experience to help you be the happiest you’ve been in your life and to be the best version of yourself.
