Rob has a special interest in:
- Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation
- Strength and Hypertrophy Programming
- Functional Movement Analysis
Rob has a strong athletic background which has led him to follow his love for exercise and training into a career path in health and fitness. He has a strong passion for utilising resistance exercise to help others to improve their health goals and quality of life.
Rob graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology degree. During his time in this course, he also began personal training and group exercise coaching. This allowed him to further develop and apply his skills and understanding whilst continuously expanding his knowledge of exercise principles. He is interested in furthering his studies in nutrition in the future.
- Certificate 3 in Fitness (Group Exercise)
- Certificate 4 in Fitness (Personal Training)
When Rob isn’t at AMS helping others improve their quality of life through exercise he is often either training himself or vigorously reading exercise and nutrition books or watching fitness videos. On the rare occasion Shaf gets away from ‘all things training’ he enjoys reading autobiographies and spending time with his family and friends on adventures and trying new cuisines (anything besides sweet potato and chicken is exotic to his taste buds).
