We are looking for a Receptionist and Clinical Assistant who is interested in being part of a growing clinic team and working closely with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists.

We are a fast-growing Allied Health and Fitness facility providing high quality services to a targeted group of motivated and health focused clients who are keen to get moving.

Our brand-new facility offers a fully functional training studio and private consultation rooms. We integrate a high level of screening for all clients with combined input from both Physiotherapists and Exercise Scientists/Physiologists to get the best results.

We offer a wide range of services from Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Massage, Clinical Pilates, Personal Training and Group Fitness Classes.

Our next ideal Receptionist & Clinical Assistant:

⭐ Expect to form part of our clinical assistant team supporting our practitioners and Clinic Manager.
⭐ Will have a passion for genuinely wanting to help people better themselves.
⭐ Will have some prior experience (preferred, but not essential); Student studying Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology would be an ideal candidate
⭐ Will have an ability to multi-task in a busy practice managing multiple practitioner schedules simultaneously
⭐ Expect to have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs
⭐ Expect to ideally have experience in a customer service role
⭐ Expect to have excellent communication skills and able to follow instructions properly
⭐ Expect to have a professional telephone manner
⭐ Will be punctual and will be able to manage time well

As a Receptionist & Clinical Assistant, your role is vital as you are the first point of contact when clients enter the clinic. Your mannerism and personality will need to shine bright as you will form part of our client’s AMS experience and journey towards better health. Your clinical support is necessary to ensure the smooth operation of AMS and all practitioners schedules.


As one of our AMS front of house team members, you will be required to execute and meet the following work tasks each shift.
⭐ Patient management tasks which involve checking patients in, processing payments, making bookings, answering phones and responding to enquiries
⭐ Preparing online patient files, and assisting with the preparation of marketing material
⭐ Provide support to our Clinicians to assist them with a smooth transition between patients
⭐ Maintaining our reception and waiting area to ensure its always kept tidy and is presentable
⭐ Have an interest in one of the services we offer which includes; Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Pilates, Team Training and more
⭐ Assist our Clinic Manager in processing orders for our online shop, update products
⭐Exceptional telephone manner, excellent verbal, and written skills, organised and efficient at time management
⭐Studio maintenance
⭐Ensuring patient accounts are up to date and settled
⭐Management of online shop orders

  • Hours would be split across 2-3 shifts with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as required

Salary: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
